Zae Valera

Zae Valera M.Ed is the Program Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst implementing co-curricular programs, trainings, and services that result in student learning. Being from very diverse inner cities, this fuels her passion to work for change. She aspires to continue amplifying voices, creating spaces in which students feel they belong and matter; all while holding those involved accountable to sustain inclusive spaces. Zae has a BA in Psychology from Framingham State University and a M.Ed in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University.
