Maria Sucher

 
 

María Sucher is currently a marketing manager at Wiley working on the company's most prestigious client events in the partner and brand team. She graduated with honors from UMass Amherst in 2018 with a BBA in Marketing, a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and minors in Spanish and Classical Civilizations. While on campus, Maria served on the executive board for various student organizations including Latinos Unidos, the Residence Hall Association, and the National Residence Hall Honorary. As a student, Maria also worked on campus as the event coordinator for the Latin American Cultural Center, a campus tour guide, a marketing specialist for UMass Dining and a resident assistant for first year students. Besides her full time role post graduation, Maria serves on the Boston Chapter Board for the Association of Latino Professionals for America and as a director on the UMass Amherst Alumni Association Board. Most recently, Maria founded Latinos of UMass, an alumni network for individuals identifying with Hispanic or Latin American/Hispanic culture as well as her company's first ever Hispanic/Latin American Employee Resource Group (ERG), ¡HOLA! @ Wiley. Maria loves to serve as a resource for everyone she meets and connect them to relevant opportunities.
