Judi Vigna

From youth advocate and community activist to CEO of her own workforce development company, Judi Vigna has long been a champion for creating opportunities for young people to build successful lives. Her facility for strategic thinking, infrastructure building, and passion for expanding opportunities for young people, form the cornerstone of her company, Specialized Career Guidance. Judi created SCG to bridge the disconnect that exists between leading industries seeking to hire motivated talent, and the abundance of capable young people seeking pathways to successful careers. Her mission is to help strengthen our workforce and community by preventing motivated high school students from graduating without a plan or becoming one of the 40% of students who drop out of college without a degree. Judi graduated with a BA in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration from UMASS Amherst and was very happy to return as a Steering Committee Member of Women for UMass Amherst. She believes strongly in supporting education and women led initiatives. Her company is a recipient of the Women Business Enterprise National Certification (WBENC).
