Kelly McGovern

Kelly is an Audit Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP and has specialized in the financial services industry during her 12 years with the firm. Kelly focuses primarily on audit engagements of open-end and closed-end mutual funds, as well as exchange-traded funds. Her experience includes the planning and execution of all aspects of financial statement audits and related filings, including shareholder report review, SEC reporting and compliance, managing client communications and leading and developing large staff teams. Additionally, she has expertise in the accounting, auditing and financial reporting for complex financial instruments, and experience in working with Deloitte’s valuation specialists. In addition to her client service responsibilities, Kelly also leads the engagement team’s implementation of audit innovation tools and process improvement to drive value-delivery for Deloitte’s clients. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and was also a graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College. Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
