Kavya Krishna

Kavya Krishna is a Social Entrepreneur and Educator who started her career as a data engineer in New York, and then founded SOW Coders, a global nonprofit that has now reached 40,000+ girls across 57 countries with coding and AI literacy programs. Her work has earned recognition including Forbes 30 Under 30, Social Impact Fellowship at Harvard Innovation Labs, and scholarships to pursue graduate degrees at Harvard and Oxford. Kavya credits her UMass education with giving her the technical foundation and confidence to become the first financially independent woman in her family, and now she's working to create that same opportunity for girls worldwide.
