Kokui Adesokan
Kokui Adesokan ‘09 is a Program Manager at Bridgewater Associates—the largest hedge fund in the world, where she oversees a portfolio of software engineering projects. She crafts and implements strategies to enable the seamless delivery of multiple initiatives to meet business objectives. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Kokui was an associate director at Pratt and Whitney. She has been recognized with the UMass Amherst College of Engineering Young Alumni award; the Professional Achievement in Industry Award at the Women of Color STEM Conference; a Trailblazer Spectrum Award at the Black Engineer of the Year Conference; and a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production (STEP) Emerging Leader Award. Kokui earned a BS in chemical engineering from UMass Amherst and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Kokui serves on the UMass Amherst College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters, exploring various cuisines, and traveling the world.
