Margery Piercey
Margery Piercey, CPA, CGMA is a credentialed financial expert and Audit Committee Chair of Middlesex Savings Bank. She is renowned for strategic board contributions, nimble leadership and risk management. She has C-suite experience as CFO/COO and is a former CPA firm office managing partner and practice leader. A former Isenberg Accounting Department Alum of the Year, Margery serves on the Accounting Department Advisory Committee.
Margery’s purpose-driven networking has led to her prominent leadership roles in the accounting profession including Board Chair of MassCPAs and Board member of the American Institute of CPAs. She has served her communities as Chair of the Metrowest United Way and as a member of The Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisory Committee and the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Business Partner Committee. Margery co-founded and led the Boston Businesswomen’s Resource Group landing her a shout out in the book Power Chicks. She also established and led the Advisory Council of the Family Business Association. She has been recognized as a Woman of FIRE by the BBJ and a Woman to Watch by MassCPAs. Fun Fact: Having sung the National Anthem at Fenway and the Boston Garden, Margery was dubbed “The Singing CPA” by the Boston Globe.
