Maureen Condon
Maureen Condon is an Associate on the Global Event Marketing team at BlackRock. In her role, Maureen works with internal stakeholders to create experiences that are unique and reflective of their objectives.
Maureen graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management. During her time at UMass she was a board member of the Meeting and Event Manager Association, a student chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and a student ambassador for both the HTM Department and the Isenberg School of Management.
Maureen returned to her home state of New York after graduating, and prior to BlackRock has held roles at Convene, a global hospitality company that creates hospitality-driven experiences by offering clients multiple products including event venues, meeting rooms, flexible office spaces, and building amenity centers; and FCM Meetings & Events, an award-winning strategic event management agency for the corporate market.
As a member of the Global Event Marketing team, Maureen manages the planning process for in-person, hybrid and virtual events of various sizes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating project plans, overseeing event budgets, and coordinating with audio-visual production, creative and facilities/venue teams on program logistics and execution.
Maureen has stayed connected to UMass in her post graduate years by attending and recruiting at multiple HTM Career Days, as a mentor for the HTM Leadership Academy and as a member of the committee for the Annual HTM NYC Alumni Reception, where she received the NYC Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2022.
