multi-family apartment projects valued over $150M, creating and improving almost 900 homes as both a Redevelopment and Development Manager for AvalonBay Communities. As an Asset Team Leader, Mary Kate works cross functionally, uniting teams with competing goals to ensure business objectives are met while keeping residents satisfied. Mary Kate is a 2008 Civil Engineering graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and a 2015 MBA graduate of Isenberg at UMass Amherst.

Outside of work, Mary Kate volunteers at the international level for her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, as a Regional Collegiate Coordinator of new chapters, locally with Let’s Get Ready, and serves on both the WPI Civil Engineering Board of Advisors and the WPI Women’s Impact Network. Mary Kate works in Boston, is a native of Worcester, and resides with her UMass alum husband Tom (CNS ‘07) and their two dogs in Dedham.
