Brianna Pina
Brianna Pina is the Head of Diversity & Inclusion for The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, headquartered in Cambridge, MA. She works proactively to provide counsel and support to the institute’s leaders to enable them to leverage the power of diverse backgrounds and experiences to accelerate the pace at which the world conquers disease. Currently, she is responsible for providing vision and leadership to launch the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, the design and implementation of programs and initiatives associated with creating a culture of belonging for all and the growth and development of employee resource groups.
Brianna earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management in Business Management and Legal Studies. While attending, she discovered her passion for mentoring and coaching underrepresented business students. During college she held various positions in residential life, school of management, corporate internships focused on inclusion and success of diverse populations.
Outside of work, she continuously seeks opportunities to “pay it forward” to help others reach their full potential and get involved in the community. She currently serves as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated and New England Association of African Americans in Human Resources.
