Angela F. F. Davis

Angela F. F. Davis is Assistant Undersecretary for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice in the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. An accomplished leader in higher education, government, and the political sphere her career focus has included threat assessment and crisis management, program development, leadership coaching, human trafficking and sexual violence, police reform and student development. In 2015 Governor Baker appointed her as Executive Director for Research and Grants in the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, leading the annual distribution of millions in federal and state dollars related to homeland security, criminal justice, law enforcement, and highway safety issues statewide. Soon after she was promoted to Assistant Undersecretary for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice.

Prior to public service she was Associate Dean of Students at Berklee College of Music. She received a series of outstanding service awards for her contributions to the student experience and was selected as a Susan Vogt Leadership Fellow by the Boston Consortium of Higher Education.

She received her undergraduate degree from UMASS Amherst, where she was Homecoming Queen, and earned an MBA from Suffolk University, serving as President of the MBA Association.

In her spare time, she has served as advisor to many successful campaigns, including U.S. Senator Scott Brown, leading his women’s coalition. She has coached emerging leaders in higher education at Wellesley College, M.I.T. and B.U. Presently, she volunteers on the Board of Directors for the Y.M.C.A., the UMASS Women into Leadership Program, and the UMASS Building Authority.
