Katelyn Gibbings
Katelyn Gibbings is a junior from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She is an accounting major and is also pursuing a Data Analytics certificate, as well as a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. Katelyn has been involved with WOI since the 2024 conference as a Student Ambassador. This year she is very grateful to be a member of the Operations and Event Management Committee and looks forward to working with her fellow committee members to plan and execute a successful and empowering conference. After attending the 2024 conference as a freshman, she realized how passionate she was about wanting to be a part of an organization that uplifts and empowers the voices of women in business.
Katelyn is also a brother in Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity that also encourages professional development and community engagement. Around campus, you will likely find her in the Business Innovation Hub at Isenberg or enjoying sunny days on the Commonwealth Honors College lawn with friends. Katelyn is also very excited to be interning with Checkwriters this summer in their Finance Department.
Grace Belanger
Grace Belanger is a junior from Chicago, Illinois, majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management while also pursuing the Real Estate Certificate. Grace was part of the WOI Conference last year through the Community Council and her enjoyable experience is what drove her to become more involved this year. For the 2025 Conference, she will be serving as an Operations Committee member and cannot wait to work with the team to foster an inclusive and inspirational environment. After last year’s conference, she knew she wanted to find a larger role because of the passion and motivation the conference sparked in her.
Grace is also an Ambassador for the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department and enjoys working the athletic events at the Mullins Center. This summer Grace is ecstatic to be interning at Lettuce Entertain You in downtown Chicago at their Beatrix, Streeterville location.
Mai Le
Mai Hoang Le is a junior from Da Nang, Vietnam, majoring in Operations and Information Management. She is thrilled to be a part of the 2025 Women of Isenberg Conference Planning Committee in the role of a MarComm Committee Member. Mai feels grateful to be surrounded by a community of empowering, talented women who share her profound appreciation for the WoI mission. She is eager to embark on the journey of planning and executing the 2025 conference that celebrates the efforts and individuality of each person.
Apart from her involvement in WoI, Mai is also actively involved at UMass Amherst as a member of the Marketing Committee for the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and as an Office Assistant for the University Without Walls (UWW). She is also the UMass Amherst Student Government Association's Fall 2024 Elections Commissioner.
Mai believes that the WoI conference has a profound meaning in inspiring women in their professional journeys. She greatly appreciates the valuable opportunity to be a part of a purposeful community where students, faculty, alumni, and corporate sponsors come together to develop lasting networks and connections. She is highly passionate about introducing more students to the welcoming network of inspiring, accomplished women and has always been determined to contribute to a team that nurtures both professional and personal advancement.
After finishing work and studies, Mai enjoys walking around campus, taking pictures of friends and scenery for memories, listening to music and artists, hanging out with friends, and attending various events and celebrations!
