Sandy Lish is principal and co-founder of The Castle Group, a 24-year-old women-owned PR, marketing, crisis and event management firm headquartered in Boston, named a Forbes 2021 Best PR Agency. Since founding Castle in 1996, Sandy and her business partner, Wendy Spivak, have led the firm to become one of Boston’s most successful and respected agencies. Castle is annually named to the Boston Business Journal’s top PR and events lists, and has won numerous local, national and international awards. Sandy is personally involved in women’s leadership initiatives and has been named to the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame and is a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle award winner, among other honors. Sandy leads the firm’s PR and social media division, and is a nationally recognized expert on crisis communications. She also oversees Castle’s business development and civic/community engagement, as well as the firm’s supplier diversity and global alliance strategies.

Sandy is respected for her authentic, strategic and resourceful approach to business, and embodies Castle’s “why” statement: “to nurture deep relationships to achieve professional and personal success for our clients, colleagues, company and community.” Sandy serves on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and in 2018 was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to the MassBay Community College Board of Trustees. She is also on the Center for Women & Enterprise Emeritus Board and GBH Corporate Board, among others. In addition to the Boston office, Castle has offices in Atlanta and on Maui, and affiliates worldwide.
