Jenna Melvin is a sophomore Operations and Information Management major from West Springfield, MA. She is passionate about helping others and learning new things. After attending the 2019 Women of Isenberg Conference, she was eager to get involved in an event that had such a positive influence on so many people. Jenna’s favorite part of last year’s Conference was seeing all of the attendees leave more empowered and motivated to succeed than they were when they arrived. She can’t wait for this year’s Conference!
During the school year, Jenna works at the UMass Campus Store as an Apparel Department Associate where she is constantly working on her customer service skills and learning about how to improve operations within her department. This past summer, she volunteered at Holyoke’s Homework House; where she tutored elementary school students as a part of an after-school program. Helping the students here made her realize what a positive impact she could have within her community, and she wants to continue making an impact on others at UMass. When she’s not in class or planning the Conference, you can find Jenna grabbing an iced coffee in the hub, taking a spin class at the Rec Center, or hanging out with her friends in downtown Amherst.
