Nefertiti A. Walker...

PhD, MBA is the Isenberg Director of Diversity and Inclusion and an Associate Professor in both the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management and Isenberg’s MBA program. She completed both her BA and MBA from Stetson University and her PhD from the University of Florida. Her research interests are women in leadership and developing diverse and inclusive cultures. Dr. Walker has over 40 international publications and presentations. Dr. Walker considers herself a scholar and advocate working towards inclusive sport cultures. She currently serves on the espnW College Advisory Panel. Previous leadership roles include UMass Athletic Council member, Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee for the North American Society for Sport Management, Faculty Advisor for the Association of Diversity in Sport, member of the UMass Amherst Stonewall Center Advisory Board, and Vice President for Inclusion and Social Justice for the National Association for Girls and Women in Sports.
