Meg is a Sophomore Hospitality and Tourism Management major. She joined Women in Business during her first semester at UMass where she was first introduced to the Women of Isenberg Conference. As a freshman, Meg served as a Student Ambassador for the Conference, and hosted the ‘Mom B.A.’ workshop. Within this role, she learned key networking, public speaking, and organizational skills. This year, Meg is excited to be further involved with the Conference as a member of the Marketing Team on the Planning Committee responsible for branding all aspects of the conference before, during and after the event takes place.

This past summer Meg traveled across Europe with other UMass students and faculty members on the Hospitality and Tourism Management Summer Study Abroad Program. Upon her arrival home from Europe in June, Meg was an Event Development and Marketing Intern at the March of Dimes. She loved pursuing her interest in event planning while learning support functions for a nonprofit organization. Within her position, Meg worked alongside a Development Specialist to plan fundraising events in the Boston area, including the Black Ties for Babies Gala.
